The third edition of the conference will focus on the technological solutions used in the translation industry. During the conference, issues such as workflow and project management, CAT tools or machine translation will be discussed.
The conference program will be divided into two parallel threads, intended for different audiences. The IT Thread is aimed at those interested in the effective use of modern technologies in the translation and localization market. The latest technological solutions and the possibilities of their implementation in the work of a company, integration of interfaces and application development will be presented in the panel. Dominik Radziszowski – XTRF™ technical director, Doctor of Technical Sciences, an expert in IT technology, the author of several publications and holder of numerous industry certifications (including SCJP, SCJD and SCEA) – will supervise all the preparations of the program. The Business Thread is aimed at owners and managers of translation and localization companies, project managers and development specialists. In the Business Thread, the technological tools available on the market will be presented in terms of their capabilities and benefits in streamlining business processes. With this solution, participants will acquire full knowledge of the technology – an overview of possibilities and expected benefits for managers, as well as the implementation and development information for the IT department.
The Business Thread also includes presentations concerning business issues, including effective sales methods, as well as marketing and strategies in the translation industry.
The programs of both panels will also feature presentations related to the XTRF™ system - new solutions and possibilities for integration in particular areas of business activity. As always, workshops will be held during the conference. Participants will be able to work in the XTRF™ system directly on their mobile computers. The workshops will be divided by subject so that the participants will learn about those practical issues related to the XTRF™ system that are most interesting to them.
